The polyethylene (UHMWPE) coating provides durability and non-marking properties, this has proven to outlast normal type rubber hoses as much as 5 times or more! And this and 6 lbs lighter than a standard 2 wire hose!!

Best hose I have ever used. Excellent durability. Coating is slick so less effort is needed to drag around. Only negative is that the slick coating prevents hose from gripping on to hose reel so I recommend using a short "regular" hose to grip reel & attach Dragon Tail hose to short hose.
